Ran into the land owner of the Lapeer property yesterday, and we had a long talk about the new doe season. He is strictly against it, and sounded a bit upset about us not calling to discuss it. He only found out about it from a seminar he was at last week. He will not honor it and asked me to share that fact with ASC owners/managers.

I don't know what the lease contracts say but again, I really do think we should be talking to the landowners before we start hunting in September. We should not be assuming they are all ok with it.

Thanks,

Brian Jordan

Is this the 104 property, or the new Lappeer property?

It's the 104 property. Randy Jager was the owner's name.

I'll get Jeff and/or Frank in touch with him. We shouldn't have a problem, we have only ever had 2 deer killed off that property. Not much of a chance we are going to do a wholesale slaughter.

Randy,
Yes there is a new Lapeer property that the club just got this year it is not in the system as of yet but should be by the end of the month the lease starts September 1st it will be Property number MI0105. It is located about 15 minutes due north of Lapeer right on M-24 just north of M-90, with a small parcle going south of M-90. If you have any qustions about this property send me a e-mail and I will be glad to answer any of your qustions that I can.

There will be an email and a posting on here in the announcements.

If folks have more questions on the issue of the Lapeer property, or how the announcements are made, please post in the ASC General Business forum so we can keep this thread on track discussing the antlerless season. Thanks.
