Folks Going to post up what I got on still available elk hunts as of today. This is the comments I recieved from Chandler.Bob,
If they are in shape and willing to work a little bit, I have the following: COS690 will be an interesting hunt, it is a draw area for elk, with 47% odds of drawing with no points but should offer a decent chance at an archery bull for hunters who are willing to work. The fact that this area is a draw for elk is helping the quality and the overall population. $400 hunt cost, also could do deer, same odds of drawing as the elk, for no additional cost. This property blocks off a huge amount of BLM land and there should be some nice resident bulls in some of these isolated draws and canyons. It is new so we will have to hunt it to learn more but it looks good and I have hunted near this area before in archery season with some success. I have OTC archery hunting on COS250 for $225 or COS270 for $325. COS250 is the best hunt for the price but the hunters will have to be in good shape to cover some ground and the best hunting will be the last part of the season when they are in the rut. Top end archery hunt is the COS700 property, $1,500 per week includes cabin and has lots of good waterholes for treestands and plenty of elk. For the money this is still a very good value, last year on 1 waterhole they got 3 archery elk in one day and there are usually 50+ bull elk taken on this ranch each year.
