Sorry for the late notice but every year a few buds and I get together with all our venison and make a bunch of specialty meats from the deer that we harvested the this year. This is kind of a side business for me and we make anything from Italian sausage, jerkey, hot sticks, summer sausage, to breakfast sausage, brats, and burger. We usually do up a few hundred pounds and we are doin it up this weekend. We will start cutting and grinding it up and adding all the pork butt and seasonings this Friday the 8th around 6:00 pm. Then on Saturday we start packing the casings around noon and continue until we are done. Usually an all day affair!
This is an invite to any member who would like to join in on the festivities. Either Friday or Saturday It's usually a lot of fun with good friends, good conversation, and best of all good eats! The grill will be going so bring your appetite and your favorite beverage. If you have a few pounds of leftover venison that you would like to turn into something special bring it along and we'll hook you up.
