Ok I have talked with the BoyScouts in the Yale area. They are currently building boxes to sell to raise money for their troup, the cost is $30.00 each. I need to know how many we want, I know several people have stated they would sponser some. If your still willing with this price let me know and I will give you a address to send the money. They have them right now I just need to know how many to get and then we can get them and put them out, I never did get a price on Mallard tubes this is just the wood duck boxes. As far as putting them out the ponds are still frozen solid with 4 to 7 inches of ice on them. I would say maybe by the beging of April at the soonest, I know up by me the birds havent even started showing up yet nor has any of the ponds opened up. I have been watching this prety close as I want to trap some beaver out of there and havent been able to do so through the ice and I only have until the end of the month. I'm going back out there this morning to set some traps if I can.

I would like to do it through the local boyscouts. I am in for 2-3 boxes. Just tell me where and when to send the check.

Guys, I'm going to place the order Monday the 24th. Right now we have 7 boxes confirmed with 5 of them going on the 104 property and 2 going down to Hillsdale on one of the propertys down there. As most of you know I sent out a e-mail about this and I want to give them folks a chance to respond and place a order if they would like.
I am also trying to get the MUCC crew to film us placing the boxes with the boy scout troup's help. I think this would be a 2 fold bonus for both the club and the boy scouts. I don't know what is going to happen with it though as they are very busy (MUCC).
As of right now I'm planning on the weekend of the 12-13th of April for placing them on the property. If you would like to help or just want to meet some of the other club members feel free to come out and join us.

Frank, If we film the placing of the boxes, we can get the MUCC folks to air it. So even if we can't get them out, if someone has a camera and can do the filming, we can still get it up, plus we can put it up on our youtube account which is linked to our website. If I am available and Mike is done with my camera, I can film it. The two for Hillsdale, I will probably film with my boys helping out.

Good idea Todd, I never thought of filming it our selfs. I will see if I can get a camra, what would be the best way to get it to you? I know with e-mail and my connection speed (or lack of) it would take me a month to e-mail you a 1 minute video.
If someone has a camra and would like to do this let me know witch date would work better for you.
