just wanted to let everyone know that we will be having a drawing on jan. 4th for a FREE shoulder mount anyone who brings their deer in to be mounted is automatically entered in the drawing...good luck!!!

How much for a whitetail shoulder mount. My son took anice buck this weekend. dressed out at #215, nice heavy 8 point. I will let him get it mounted if he pays. I have paid for his last few. He is 19 so its time for him to start paying

C'mon dad .. If its a matter of he wont get it mounted cause he don't have the bucks, you have to step in. Don't let the memory slip away.

Just teasing really. My son took his first buck with a bow this weekend ( a 7 pt.) I wanted to get it mounted for the memory but he didn't have the money and I didn't have the extra $4 bills it usually costs. So we get the horns. I'm researching the taxidermy classes. Something I really want to get into. Mostly for my own purposes and maybe some friends, etc. Would be an awesome hobby as I settle into old age huh.

my shoulder mount price is $365,but ASC members recieve a 10% discount on all taxidermy services,so that would put your price at $328.50.

I have seen some of the Deer mounts that Larry has done, they are some nice mounts. He even does some GREAT DUCK mounts I have 2 that he has done for me. By the way both of the ducks he mounted for me came off of club property.

If someone would like to see the duck mounts that Larry did for me just send me a e-mail or PM and I'll send you some pictures of them. I have a Drake Woodie and a Drake Black Duck. The woodie is a standing mount and the black is a flying mount. I tried to put the pictures up on the forum but was unable to do it.

Yes, Larry does top notch work. Larry did the buck that Jason Lucas took off the Lenawee property 2 yrs ago. If I didn't have a long standing relationship with my taxidermist, my stuff would all go to Larry.
