Just a reminder to those who might be or thinking about hunting WY next year.
The preference point buy period will be ending the end of the month. You can purchase a point for big game online. Just log onto the WY fish and game website and buy your points. I have been told one point can get you a decent draw for elk. Dean and I purchased a elk point and a deer point. This will give us two points for the draw next year on elk.

WY does not require you to select a unit now. You do that when you actually apply for a unit/tag next year. Another good thing is you list your 1-3 choice and if you don't draw your number one choice you keep the preference points you have accumulated.

elk $50
deer $40
Antelope $40?

I double checked the site and you have until the end of Sept. This gives everyone a little more time to think about it.
