Went out to MI0116 today for some late season small game hunting with a budy of mine. We seen 5 rabbits 5 squirrels 2 deer and a racoon  . We got 4 of the 5 rabbits but couldn't get close enough to the darn squirrels for a shot  .
We seen plenty of Turkey and Deer sign, but never seen any of the Turkeys. It seems the turkeys are all over the property and not just in one place. We seen tracks up by the west parking lot, in unit C and in both sections of woods. I think any one that is planing on turkey hunting this property should do real well. I plan on hunting unit E the end of april, any one want to join me? I don't call real well but from what I have observed calling isn't nessary on this Property. All you have to do is sit and wait for them to come walking by kinda like deer hunting.
