Well we ended up goose hunting property 107 for the opener of the late waterfowl season. We seen about 600 ducks and 400 geese. Most of the geese didn't want anything to do with our setup, either continueing to fly by or landing in the pond on the nabiors property. The ducks on the other hand mostly landed in the little flooded pond in the middle of the field.

Sunday morning found us set up just south of the pond in the middle of the field. Well at 7:38am the ducks started pouring into the pond in the middle of the field. Well we changed from goose hunting to duck hunting in a big hurry. We ended up with 4 ducks in the game bag with 1 lost. On Monday morning we started out in the pond in the middle of the field. Well the ducks didn't come in like they did sunday but we did some better shooting on this day and ended the day with 5 ducks in the game bag with again 1 lost. both day's we shot 4 mallards 3drakes/1hen then on monday I shot a black duck also. I sent Todd some pictures of the 2 day's harvest.

Sounds like you had a good late season. It's always nice to get them in the open fields.

How did you do down in lenord? The ducks worked great for us but the geese was a different story.

Went to 107 today for geese. Eight geese flew off the neighbors pond, one flew by high overhead. Nothing else going on.
