Well we had 77 unit reservations for the early doe season (not sure they where all for the doe season though). By the harvest reports that have been filled out members shot a total of 5 does. We had 2 taken off Mi0105, 2 taken off Mi0116, and 1 shot and lost on the Mi0113 property. I will keep a eye on the harvest reports and update this if I notice any changes, or if someone knows of a deer taken go ahead and post it. Not to bad for a early season.

I would like to say congrats to all the members (guest) that took advantage of this early season.

Some info I forgot to put in was the total number of deer seen. Members seen a total of 40 bucks and 118 does, now several of these could have been the same deer and I would believe several of them were the same one's. I have noticed several harvest reports that still need to be filled out though. Most of these deer where seen on 4 different propertys.

I shot a doe in the early season on the Hillsdale MI0122 unit D property on the last day. I saw quite a few deer on that unit in a couple days of hunting. I thought the deer was out of range going into the corn, but something spooked it and it came right towards me only 15 yards away. It was a very promising start to the season.
