Just a reminder to all hunting in the Hillsdale area. Jerome Market has a Farmers Feeding the Hungry Program. Essentially you can donate your deer to them. It needs to be tagged. Then just take it there, fill out a form, get your patch, and give them the deer. They then distribute the meat out to needy places in the area. Works really well. I did it once last year. Seeing that you can buy up to 5 $10 Doe tags it gives you a way to continue to enjoy hunting then donate to a worthy cause if you don't want the meat.
Jerome Market is located right on US12 in the vicinity of where MI122 is and North of MI125. It's an awesome place. Should stop in if you havent. You can get your deer processed as well as purchase all kinds of meats, jerky, and seasonings. They have some nice mounts on the wall as well to look at. Check it out.
