Ok Guys,
Who put in for a turkey tag and for what hunt? I personaly put in for the first private land only hunt. I plan on hunting the 105 property the first day of the season and if I'm not successful I will either continue on this property or move around to other propertys like I did last spring. After the first day it depends on weather or not I can get a reservation for 105 property. I know turkeys have been seen (or their tracks) on all the units of this property. I also know that there is turkeys on both of the lapeer co. propertys and the st. clair co. property.

Good luck to those who decided to put in for a tag. If you need some advice or help in getting a turkey let me know, I will give any help or advice I can. Or if you just want someone to tag along or want to tag along on my hunt feel free to get ahold of me and we can try and work something out. I'm not the greatest caller but I have called in a turkey all but 2 seasons of my turkey hunting.

Drove by 105 the other day. Saw some deer and birds in the field.

Hey Guys,
Here is a free printable patern target, I took this link from another forum.

I have used it and like it, you get a nice size target to let you know what kind of pattern you have on the turkeys. Good luck to everyone that put in for a turkey permit.

While driving by the 105 property I seen some turkeys in unit E right in front of unit D. Not sure where they came from but I will be out there the 20th to try and get one.
