The deer hunting season is over. This afternoon while working in the garage I looked out the north window and saw deer walking out of the woods (unit D) onto the open field (unit B). They just kept coming! So I went and got my daughter who has better eyes than me. She grabbed the binoculars and counted 32 deer! They were all scratching the ground looking for grain. Without any concern about hunters. They must know the season is over. Sarah observed that they looked to be all does and yearlings.
