Thanks Frank -
I think it turned out great for our 2nd dinner. But, I have to say, it's everyone who was included that was able to make it successful.
Rochester College will give us alot of opportunity for growth and expansion for our annual dinner for the years to come.
For those of you who couldn't make it to our Wild Game Dinner last Saturday, I have attached several photos to show you some of what you missed.
Turns out we had roughly 100 people show. We didn't have as many members as we would have liked, but we hope that changes. We had 4 or 5 landowners show up. We had alot of visitors checking ASC out. We had several guests sign up as members at the dinner as well.
Over all it's a great start for us to plan our next years dinner. We'll be shooting for 200 to 300 people next year. We'll be inviting MUCC, Pheasants Forever, CBM, QDMA, Ruffed Grouse, among others to hold tables. We'll invite retailers as well to have tables.
We will have several outdoor family acitivities planned next year around the campus of Rochester College and make it more of an all day event and end up with the dinner. We will be holding a silent auction, raffles and other fund raising opportunities next year as well.
Todd represented Ruffed Grouse Chapter of Ann Arbor and raffled off a brand new Camo. / Syn. Stock - Remington 700 .50 Cal. Black Powder Rifle.
We will also market it alot more than we did this year. We didn't want to push it to hard, not knowing how the college would support us.
I have to say the college impressed me immensely. I appreciate everyone who did show up. I hope you all had a great time.
Thanks again.
