Had an intersting plane ride Sunday. Was heading to Edmonton Canada and sat next to Bob Eastman. He's one of the Eastman family that owns Eastman Outdoors out of Flushing Michigan. Their biggest claim to fame is probably Carbon Express arrows and Gorilla treestands. Tried to get us a deal on arrows. Also had a chance to talk about ASC with him. Did find out they have a job opening for a National Account Sales Manager. Would be responsible for a $20 million portfolio per year. Sell to Cabelas, Gander Mountain, etc. He was headed to Alaska for a fishing trip. He's an avid bowhunter himself and has done alot of Moose and Bear in Canada and Alaska. Was pretty neat.

What a strange set of events. I mentioned sitting next to Bob Eastman on the plane ride to Edmonton. Well, sitting in the Edmonton airport waiting to start journey home and met a guy who worked for an outfitter in Alberta. He was waiting for a different plane but somehow we were sitting next to each other in the waiting area and started talking. He guides for Bear. Black's and Grizzly. Listened to about 45 minutes of Bear stories. How they set up base camp's, etc. It was extrememly interesting.
