I spoke with Scott last week. He plans to thin out the fencerows this year, and will take some of them out next year. The guy leasing his property to plant crops doubled his land rent providing Scott removed the fencerows. Unfortunately, the ethanol boom is going to affect us in this way, possibly for some time to come.

It's unit A/C. Scott is in the process of getting rid of the fence rows that run east/west, so he has been cutting a lot of trees. Not sure what his time frame is on that, but they provide good cover for the blind.
